PCIT Training that excels.

All training is dynamic, experiential, and focused on the FUN of learning PCIT and helping families. Training is conducted according to PCIT International’s Training Guidelines and is offered by a Certified Global Trainer.

Become a PCIT Therapist.

PCIT is a powerful treatment that improves parent-child relationships through direct coaching of family interactions. Becoming a PCIT therapist involves 40-hours of training and 1 year of case consultation and session review. You will begin treating families in PCIT immediately after the first week of training, and will receive consultation on your cases including live session support via telehealth. To learn more about the Therapist Training Guidelines from PCIT International, click here. PCIT trainings are currently being offered virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Become a Within-Agency PCIT Trainer.

Within-Agency Trainers offer a unique opportunity for clinicians to learn PCIT through a co-therapy model. If you are already a certified PCIT therapist, you can join the 8-hr training and 1 year of consultation and session review to become a Within-Agency Trainer (WT). You will learn how to structure training, track trainee progress, and implement the co-therapy process (side-by-side training with your trainee and current PCIT families). To learn more about the WT Training Guidelines from PCIT International, click here. Trainings are currently being offered virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Become a Regional PCIT Trainer.

Regional Trainers have the capacity to train PCIT therapists outside of their agency and within their state or region. Regional Trainers (RT) are intended for trainers who aim to coordinate rollout of PCIT in their region, including systems-level engagement. To learn more about the RT Training Guidelines from PCIT International, click here. Our capacity for working with Regional Trainers is full for the 2021 training year, however, you may email us if you are interested in working together in 2022 toward Regional Trainer status.
